Shakes Mashaba announcing the match squad

Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba (Bafana Bafana coach), has announced the squad for the upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Gambia.
Bafana Bafana are going to face Gambia in an AFCON qualifier at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on June 4.
Mashaba announced the team at SAFA House today (Thursday).
Bafana are third in Group M and have collected three points, while  Cameroon lead the group with eight points and Mauritania are second with seven points.
Bafana’s chances of qualifying for next year’s AFCON in Gabon took a severe blow, following consecutive draws against Cameroon in March, although the team is not mathematically out of the race just yet.
Gambia are at the bottom of the group with two points, with two games left for all the teams to play.
The Bafana squad:
Goalkeepers: Itumeleng Khune, Jackson Mabokgwane, Brighton Mhlongo
Defenders: Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Diamond Thopola, Thabo Matlaba, Erick Mathoho, Sifiso Hlanti, Rivaldo Coetzee, Teboho Langerman
Midfielders: Andile Jali, Thulani Serero, Thapelo Morena, Mpho Makola, Mandla Masango, Hlompho Kekana, Keagan Dolly, Dean Furman, May Mahlangu
Strikers: Thamsanqa Gabuza, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Ndumiso Mabena, Thobani Mncwango
The game with Gambia has been set to take place at 19h00 (SA time).
